Provide the situations where the mailbox rule does not apply.

1. Offer states acceptance when received by offeror.
2. Offer states the date by which the offeror should receive the acceptance.
3. If you use an unauthorized means of acceptance.
4. If medium of communicating acceptance is slower, than how the offer was communicated.
5. Acceptance should mirror the offer, otherwise its a counteroffer.
