Highlights of the employer mandate of the Affordable Care Act.

  1. Employers with > 50 FTE employees must offer group life coverage.
  2. Must cost employee < 9.5% of their income.
  3. Employer cover at least 60% of cost.
  4. Penalty if at least one employee does not receive coverage.
